Frontier Carbon Solutions, LLC (Frontier) is a carbon dioxide (CO2) transportation and sequestration company founded in April 2021 and is capitalized by affiliates of Tailwater Capital, LLC, a Dallas, a Texas based energy investment platform with more than USD3.7 billion of committed capital.

At full capacity, the SCS Hub is anticipated to store up to 5 million metric tons of CO2 annually from neighboring industrial emitters and direct air capture (DAC) partners. Frontier has prepared this application and supporting documentation to develop one of three Class VI injection wells for the Project, which will be constructed in phases and operational for over a 20-year injection period. The first phase of the project with three wells has a combined permitted injection rate of 1.274 MMt / yr.
