The Pelican Rindge Tract CCS project involves permitting and installing two Class VI deep injection wells, capturing CO2 at the Pelican biofuel production facility in Port of Stockton, transporting the CO2 via barge to Rindge Tract, transferring it to the injection well, and injecting it into a deep formation for geologic sequestration.
