Milestone Carbon Midland CCS Hub, LLC is a subsidiary of Milestone Carbon, the CCS business unit of Milestone Environmental.

Milestone has recently submitted its Class VI application to the EPA. There is an existing injection well by Milestone Environmental in Upton, TX, indicating that Milestone is not new to the area and that it can rely on its knowledge of the subsurface. In June 2022, the Texas Pacific Land Corporation announced a joint evaluation of CCS on its lands together with Milestone Carbon, LLC on 21'000 acres.

The name of the project indicates that it follows the CCS Hub strategy of allowing multiple sources of CO2 to be connected to the hub over the lifetime of the project. The project will permanently sequester and store Carbon Dioxide from nearby gas processing plants.
