Eastern Wyoming Sequestration Hub

Class VI

Pro See the progress bar with key dates.

The EWS Hub is an innovative, multi-state decarbonization effort focused on permanently sequestering CO2 from multiple emitters located in Wyoming and several surrounding states. The initial EWS Hub CO2 sequestration well, Juniper I-1, is located in Laramie County. The second Class VI application for the injection well Spirea I-1 contains all 6 planned injection wells and the combined AOR, which we have digitized below.

The Juniper M-1 well has been drilled and completed as a stratigraphic test well. Although the injection wells are designed for an injection rate of 1.5 MMt / yr, all six wells combined are expected to inject an average of 5.1 MMt / yr.
