The Capio Mountaineer Sequestration project is the Carbon Dioxide Storage part of the Mountaineer GigaSystem, which aims to power a datacenter with blue hydrogen.

Fidelis New Energy has partnered with Battelle Carbon Services to advance its Mountaineer GigaSystem™ project in West Virginia. Battelle will conduct stratigraphic test well drilling, collect seismic data, and submit multiple Class VI sequestration permit applications for the safe and permanent storage of carbon dioxide. This collaboration builds on their experience in carbon sequestration in Appalachia and other regions.
