The Bayou Bend East project, proposed by Bayou Bend CCS LLC, is a carbon transport and sequestration (CCS) initiative in Texas State Waters. This project is a collaboration between Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (through its Chevron New Energies division), TotalEnergies, and Equinor. The goal is to establish a CCS facility in Southeast Texas to help lower emissions from regional industrial plants. The facility will capture and store carbon dioxide (CO2) from industrial sources in the Beaumont/Port Arthur region, supporting local, regional, and national efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

The Phase 1 (BBE-P1) project site for Bayou Bend East is situated on the Jefferson County Lease, High Island Block, Jefferson County (SL20220050, General Land Office, April 1, 2022; covering 40,865 acres) in Texas State Waters.
