Regional Direct Air Capture Hubs - Topic Area 2 (Design)

The Southern States Energy Board, in partnership with Alabama Power Company, is orchestrating the Southeast DAC (SEDAC) Hub project in Mobile County, Alabama, to facilitate the implementation of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. The project involves a diverse team from entities such as 8 Rivers, Aircapture, Crescent Resource Innovation, ENTECH Strategies, Georgia Tech, Mitternight, RTI International, Southern Company Services, the University of Alabama, and the University of South Alabama. The SEDAC Hub will be centered around pioneering technologies developed or refined by 8 Rivers and Aircapture.
